150 Roads to Leadership

Where’s a good thought about leadership when you need one? Well, actually, it seems you can’t swing a dead consultant without hitting one. However, I recently stumbled on this list of “The Top 150 Management and Leadership Blogs.” (It is definitely sad that none of the IIA blogs made the list. We’ll just have to keep trying.)

And, you know, I had a whole speech prepared about why auditors should care about leadership and management — how we are leaders and we audit leaders — but I’ll bet you already understand that. Instead, just jump in, dig through these sites, and see what there is to see. From my initial explorations, there’s some good stuff buried here. (And one quick thought for those discouraged individuals working in a bad situation — take a look and maybe you’ll be encouraged remembering what good leadership is.)

Have fun, and let the rest of us know if you hit gold.

  1. Hi Mike;

    I was fortunate enough to catch your session on Social Networking at this year's GAM Conference (geat session btw) and I was wondering if you could provide a sample Social Networking Policy that I could use to introduce the idea to our Leadership.  Also, where can I access the Slide Shows from the Conference Sessions?  Thanks...
