Taxes
Shipments to Florida, add 6% state tax plus your county surtax.
Shipments to Georgia, add 7% state tax. Shipments to Canada, add 5% GST
or 13% HST, if applicable.

Customs and Duties
The IIARF is not responsible for customs or broker's fees.The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information.
 
Customers are liable for any fees charged by Customs or by parcel carrier if an order is refused by customer at time of delivery.

Failed Delivery Attempts
Most of our carriers make three attempts to deliver a package. Packages that contain more than $400 of merchandise will always require a signature; otherwise, it is generally up to the driver's discretion to determine whether a signature is required. If the driver feels it is best to obtain a signature and no one is present to accept the delivery after three attempts, the package will be returned to us.
 
Weather Delays
If you live in an area experiencing snow storms or other extreme weather, weather delays may add an additional 1 to 2 days to the estimated delivery date of your order.
 
Gift Certificate Policy

Gift Certificates can only be redeemed through The IIA Research Foundation Bookstore Web site, www.theiia.org/bookstore toward the purchase of eligible products.  Gift certificates are for use with Bookstore orders only and cannot be used toward the purchase of any other IIA event, service, or account. Purchases are deducted from the Gift Certificate balance.

Gift Certificates may not be redeemed for the purchase of products through on-site IIA events, seminars, or conferences. Gift Certificates cannot be reloaded or redeemed for cash. Unused Gift Certificate balances in an IIARF Bookstore account may not be transferred.

The risk of loss and title for Gift Certificates pass to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission to the recipient or delivery to the carrier, whichever is applicable. We are not responsible for lost or stolen Gift Certificates.

The IIA Research Foundation will have the right to close customer accounts and request alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained Gift Certificate is either redeemed through The IIARF Bookstore Web site or is redeemed and used to make purchases on the Bookstore Web site.
