It’s nearly impossible to pick up a business journal today or attend a conference and not see something on big data, mobile computing, cloud computing, social media, or cybercrime. But what exactly are these technologies? How are they driving business today? This lively webinar will present a current and prospective look at these technologies, the opportunities and risks that they bring, and what every CAE should be aware of.

Robert E. Stroud, CGEIT – Member of ISACA’s Strategic Advisory Council and vice president of Strategy and Innovation at CA Technologies, as well as service management and governance evangelist at CA Technologies.

Gregory T. Grocholski, CISA – ISACA’s incoming international president for 2012-2013 and current international vice president, as well as chief audit executive at Dow Chemical Company.

Robert E. Stroud, CGEIT is a member of ISACA’s Strategic Advisory Council. He is a past international vice president of ISACA, and member of the ISACA Framework Committee. He is also vice president of Strategy and Innovation and service management and governance evangelist at CA Technologies.

Stroud spent more than 15 years in the finance industry successfully managing multiple initiatives in both the IT and retail banking sectors related to IT service management and process governance. He joined CA from the Australian computer security company, Cybec, where he held several management positions and was responsible for the company’s successful global expansion, including entry into the North American market. Stroud also serves on the itSMF International Board as Treasurer and Director Audit, Standards and Compliance and leads the itSMF ISO liaisons to multiple working groups.

Gregory T. Grocholski, CISA is ISACA’s incoming international president for 2012-2013 and current international vice president. Grocholski is also chief audit executive at The Dow Chemical Company, where he is responsible for independently assessing the adequacy of accounting, financial and operating controls of Dow’s global operations. In this role, Grocholski has responsibility for corporate auditing, fraud investigative services and contract auditing. In addition, he is a standing ad hoc member of Dow’s global and regional ethics and compliance committees.

Grocholski is also a member of ISACA’s Audit Committee, Finance Committee, Professional Influence & Advocacy Committee, and Professional Issues Task Force. He has been a member of the Knowledge Board and Strategic Advisory Council, and has been ISACA’s Assurance Committee chair. He is a board member of the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, vice president of Michigan Baseball Operations and a member of Northwood University’s Accounting Advisory Council.
