Computer Based Testing (CBT)
The IIA's new online Certification Candidate Management System (CCMS) is now open, which allows candidates to apply/register for certification programs/exams and access their records online.

Important! Read the notes below before you attempt to login to the CCMS for the first time using the link at the bottom of this page:

All candidates:

• If you are a candidate from a country that administers IIA certifications through a local certification agreement, you cannot use/access the CCMS. Click here for a list of these countries, as well as their contact information.
• If you are planning to sit for the CIA exam in a language other than English, click here for information on the language roll-out schedule before attempting to login and register.
• Full-time students or full-time professors: Click here for information on discounted pricing in CCMS.

Returning candidates:

• Certain program rules have changed and will be applicable to you. (For example, registrations for exams/parts are now valid for 180 days, and all fees are non-refundable.) It is important that you review the Candidate Handbook before logging in because you will be agreeing to these rules.
• Please DO NOT use the "First Time Users" button on the CCMS login page - it will cause a delay in accessing your current record. Instead, click here for instructions on how to log in.

New candidates:

• It is important that you review the Candidate Handbook before logging in because you will be agreeing to the rules of the program as outlined in this handbook. Once you have reviewed the handbook, use the "First Time Users" button on the CCMS login page to begin your application process.
