Computer-Based Testing (CBT) Phased Launch Schedule
The initial launch of CBT testing for the CIA exam is one of several steps leading to a full CBT roll-out . The following is the phased launch schedule for the CBT roll-out.

• Late May: Candidates can begin applying to the specialty exam programs and registering for the CCSA, CGAP, and CFSA exams through the IIA Certification Candidate Management System. Once registered, candidates can begin scheduling their testing appointments with Pearson VUE for these exams.

• In June: Candidates can begin sitting for the CCSA, CGAP, and CFSA exams.

• More specific dates will be added to this schedule as they are available.

Certification Candidate Management System
We are pleased to announce that The IIA's new online Certification Candidate Management System (CCMS) is now open for CIA exam applications and registrations.

When registration opens for the CCSA, CGAP, and CFSA exams in late May, the following will be available online:

• Apply to the specialty program,
• Register for computer-based exams,
• Schedule your CBT exam appointment (via Pearson VUE's online scheduling system),
• Monitor your certification progress,
• Access your CBT exam score reports, and
• Print receipts for your exam fees.

The CCMS also features:

• Automatic processing of online registrations paid by credit card,
• Easy-to-navigate screens,
• Electronic payment options, and
• Automatic e-mail notification of your progress.

Specialty exam candidates should review the new Candidate Handbook to become familiar with processes and requirements that have changed with the transition to CBT.
