By calling The IIA at +1-407-937-1111 and mentioning the source code EXAM prior to registering for the exam, The IIA will waive the US $25 IIA membership application fee. Full-Time Students and Professors: Reduced Application and Exam Fees
The IIA offers a reduced CIA exam application fee (US $30) and a reduced CIA exam part fee (US $85) to student candidates who are:

Enrolled as a senior in an undergraduate program or as a graduate student; and
Full-time students as defined by the institution in which the student is enrolled (a minimum of 12 semester hours or its equivalent is required for undergraduate students and nine semester hours for graduate students); and
Registered for and take the CIA exam while enrolled in school.

This reduced pricing may also be offered to full-time professors in certain circumstances.

Students may only sit for each exam part once at this special rate. Students in their senior year of college may sit for the CIA exam prior to completing their degree and work experience requirements. However, the certification achievement will not be awarded until all educational requirements are achieved.
