The IIA Continues Focus on Enhancing the Certification Exam ExperienceThe IIA continues to implement, on a language-by-language basis, two key changes that enhance the certification candidate’s exam experience. The reduction in the number of un-scored questions on select exams, and the removal of the computer-based testing (CBT) tutorial from the examination process reduce the candidate’s exam seat time and avoids an impending price increase from the testing vendor. Currently, all four parts of the CIA exam are available in the following languages: English, Arabic, Chinese (Unsimplified), French, Italian, and Spanish. Candidates can check the status of their preferred testing language online. Click here for the latest information and to view the implementation table. Candidates are strongly encouraged to take the CBT exam tutorial located on The IIA’s website prior to sitting for the exam. The CBT exam tutorial allows candidates to alleviate pre-test anxiety by familiarizing themselves with the process and experience prior to entering the testing facility. Click here to access the CBT exam tutorial.
