Chapter Event Approval Process
Review the Events Matrix before scheduling and requesting approval for chapter programs to avoid any conflicts. All seminars of one day or longer must be approved by your district representative to avoid conflicts with programs that may be scheduled in the chapter area.

Before submitting the Chapter Event Approval Form to your District Representative ensure your program meets these requirements:

1. Chapter programs of one day or longer should not be scheduled within +/- 30 days that is within 150 miles of an IIA HQs seminar or conference, including a regional, district or international conference.
2. Chapter programs should also be coordinated to avoid impacting attendance at other chapter events in the area. Avoid scheduling chapter events on similar topics +/-30 days of another chapter that is within 50 miles. Confirm event topics by reviewing the chapter's Web site from the Events Matrix.
