Membership Management Tool (MMT)
The following online administrative functions are available to authorized chapter leaders.

MMT Access Process

• To gain access to this restricted area of the Web site, you must first sign a copy of the Letter of Agreement (click here to download) and understand The IIA's Privacy Policy. Return the signed Letter of Agreement to ChapterRelations@theiia.org (chapter president's approval is also required).
• The member data can be imported into Excel or leaders may prefer to use The IIA's Membership Management Tool (MMT) software, available only on CD. When returing the signed Letter of  Agreement, please let us know if you need a copy of the software. Instructions to install the software will be included with the CD.
• Install the front-end MMT database upgrade (ZIP, 3.5MB). A user must have the MMT Software installed on their PC before downloading this upgrade. (See step above). This upgrade repairs:
  • Running receipts for members
  • Accessing the speaker form from the event setup page
  • Members by Month/Years of Service (Summary) report

MMT Member Data Download Process

• Click Member Data Download
• Select Member Data Download for Institute Database
• Select Chapter Name (Chapter Administrator)
• Select Download Chapter Membership CSV
• Select Process Chapter Membership File
• Select Chapter Information (A text file will appear. Save the file as member.txt to the C:/Programs File/IIA HQ/ subfolder created when the MMT software was installed. Note: the file must be saved exactly as member.txt in order to be imported into the MMT program).
• Import the member.txt data file into the MMT program by clicking on 'IIA Import' from the MMT’s main menu page. A message indicating that the Import is Complete will appear.
