Pittsburgh Chapter

WELCOME to the Pittsburgh, PA Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors.

The Pittsburgh Chapter was chartered back on April 18, 1945 and is The IIA's 11th affiliate. This chapter is part of The IIA's District 1 and part of The IIA's Central Region.  District 1 includes the following chapters:  Pittsburgh, PA; Central Ohio, OH; Cincinnati, OH; Dayton, OH; and Northeast, OH.  The Central Region is made up of the following states:  PA, OH, MI, IN, IL and KY.  Back in 1945 we had a total 24 members, and today, we have over 800 members.

We offer local education and training, as well as networking opportunities through our chapter meetings, seminars, and socials.  Our chapter meetings are held on the first Mondays of each month during September through May.  So join us today at a monthly meeting, seminar, or a social.

Cancellation Policy:    If reservations are not cancelled prior to the deadline, you will be assessed the cost of the meeting and any meals, unless a replacement is sent in your place and communicated to the Hospitality Chairperson, Doreen Culley. We have to guarantee and pay the caterer for a certain quantity of meals.  Therefore, if folks do not show, we still have to pay for those meals.  In addition, many speakers limit the number of attendees and we may have to turn people away holding your reservation.  The IIA - Pittsburgh Chapter reserves the right to cancel the program (e.g. in the event of an insufficent number of registrants).
