CIA Review Class

The course will use the Gleim CIA review materials for Parts 1, 2 and 3.This accelerated course is a focused review of questions that are similar to those in the CIA exam. The class was customized based on feedback from students, without lectures for three consecutive days, to cover Parts I, II, and III. Interpretations for answers considered "most right" and "least right" will be discussed. Richard A. Roy Scholarship Recipient 2009

John Connolly, the President of the Downeast Maine Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), is pleased to announce that Kelly A. Curtis of Windsor, Maine is the 2009 recipient of the Richard A. Roy Scholarship. Ms. Curtis has a BS degree in Accounting from the University of Maine and is completing an MBA at Thomas College. She is currently employed as a Staff Auditor II by the State of Maine Department of Audit. The scholarship program was created in 1994 to commemorate Richard Roy’s outstanding service to the internal auditing profession; education of internal auditing students; and the Institute of Internal Auditors, a worldwide organization with over 160,000 members. Each year the award is granted to an outstanding Maine College or University student who has a record of academic achievement in business accounting or related field of study and community service experience.
