Serving the Internal Audit Profession
The Northwest Metro Chicago Chapter wants to recognize your contributions to the internal audit profession!
Have you or another member you know performed a service to the profession? We would like to know about it! The IIA recognizes that part of every chapter’s mission is to serve the internal audit profession, and the Chapter Achievement Program (CAP) provides recognition to chapters and their members for specific contributions to the profession because these efforts benefit all internal auditors.
Here is a short list of service opportunities
- Speaking on an internal audit topic at a meeting, seminar, or CPE class. Includes providing training in your company.
- Submitting an article to a trade publication such as The Internal Auditor, CAE Bulletin, IIA Educator, and other specialty.
- Writing a question for the CIA exam
- Participating in Junior Achievement activities
- Serving on an IIA-sponsored Quality Review team
If one or more of the items above speaks to you, or if you have performed another activity that you think served the profession of internal auditing, we want to know! Send an e-mail with all the details to michael.ryan@solocup.com.
The Board of Governors will review all items submitted, complete the CAP reporting to the IIA and post them on our website. At our Annual Meeting, we will draw two submissions to receive a $50 Amex gift card!
