CAP Description and Achievement
 

Welcome to the Los Angeles Chapter of The Institute of Internal Auditors

The chapter serves the Los Angeles area and our members in internal auditing, governance, internal control, IT audit, education, and security.


IIA-LA members can contribute to CAP points when they:

  1. Receive the CIA, CCSA, CFSA, or CGAP
  2. Submit an article(s) to the Internal Auditor - published or not
  3. Submit an article(s) to another professional journal - published or not
  4. Speak to a group on an internal audit related topic
  5. Submit exam questions for the CIA, CCSA, CFSA, or CGAP test

The IIA Chapter Achievement Program (CAP)
Striving to Become a Gold Chapter Every Year

Each year, our IIA-LA chapter participates in the Chapter Achievement Program (CAP). CAP gives points for performing certain activities throughout the year. Over the past few years, our chapter has done a great job in CAP, which has helped us maintain our Gold Chapter status.

After performing a rigorous review of our CAP Report and prior year Chapter activity, we have ascertained that the IIA-LA Chapter achieving a GOLD status for FY 2009! This achievement is truly a testament of our leadership team and our esteemed members! We look forward to continuing to provide exception service to our members this coming year.

CAP Chapter Points to Date = 854.98
 
CAP Target Points:
Bronze = 685
Silver = 1060
Gold (Platinum) = 1560
 
Platinum = Achieve Gold 10 years in a row
 
Minimum for Bronze by Category
Section 1 – Service to Members = 325 (our points to date is 217.74)
Section 2 – Service to Profession = 200 (our points to date is 372.84)
Section 3 – Chapter Administration = 160 (our points to date is 265)
