IIA ANNOUNCEMENT -- IIA's NEW AuditChannel.tv

The Institute of Internal Auditors is pleased to announce the launch of  www.AuditChannel.tv  and  www.AuditChannel.tv/mobile  (for mobile devices), an online video-sharing site that addresses the specific needs of internal auditors and the business community. BHM IIA CHAPTER -- MOST INSPIRING CHAPTER by IIA HQ!

The IIA-Birmingham Chapter has been awarded the “Most Inspiring” Chapter of the 2010-2011 school year.  This award is based on the 18 BHM members who volunteered approximately 84 hours of time to support The IIA’s partnership with Junior Achievement.  Our Chapter’s participation ranked as the highest level of IIA chapter involvement in the country based on the number of members who volunteered and the accumulated hours dedicated.  Please contact Jeff Vines at jeff.vines@bbvacompass.com if you volunteer with JA during the 2011-2012 school year to ensure we may report hours you volunteer.

MEMBERS: The Members tab also contains helpful information.  The Membership Directory and contact information for the Chapter Officers and Board of Governors is available on this tab.  In order to access the Members tab, you will need your member number and password.  This information can be obtained from the IIA's international headquarters at (407) 937-1100.  Also, if you need to change any information with the IIA due to a change of job or residence, it can easily be done by clicking the Update Profile button at the top left of the Chapter homepage screen.  To expedite the process, please log in under Members Only first prior to clicking on the Update Profile button.

Remember your member number, but forget your password?  Click Password Request  and enter your member number.  The IIA will e-mail you the password reminder previously established.

CHAPTER AWARDS:   BHM IIA is the recipient of the 2007-2008, 2009-2010, and 2010-2011 Most Inspiring Chapter awards for its work with Junior Achievement (JA) Worldwide.  The chapter logged a total of over 80 hours for its JA activities in 2010-2011.  Thanks to all of the members who provided us with the achievement points.  See JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT section below for details on how to report hours volunteered.
