Information Session on joining the 2012 Boston IIA International Conference Executive Committee

Earlier this year Boston was selected by the IIA to host the 2012 IIA International Conference. The IIA International Conference is the premier annual gathering of internal auditors worldwide. Boston was selected over two other finalists based on the attractiveness of the city as a destination for members, the ease of travel logistics from foreign and domestic locations, the ability of the City to host a conference of this size and the strength and participation of the local Chapter. We expect over 4,000 auditors to descend on our city in July 2012!

We will be holding an information session on October 15th to discuss how you can join the 2012 Boston IIA International Conference Executive Committee. Committee members will work with the IIA and their professional conference organizers to deliver an exciting conference. No prior conference experience is required. The sub-committees will include:

1. Educational Program
2. Finance
3. Marketing
4. Sponsorships
5. Volunteer
6. Social Program
