Internal Audit in a Global Economy

Brad Curley is a partner in KPMG's Northeast Area Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance Services ('IARCS') practice with more then 20 years of professional experience. He provides a variety of risk management services to KPMG clients through outsourced or co-sourced internal audit arrangements, including, but not limiting to business risk assessment and related control evaluation engagements, a variety of operational/performance improvement audits, Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 advisory services as well as internal audit department strategic review and better practices assessment engagements

Brad will discuss the role of internal audit within a global economy.  As the economy becomes more global, there are new risks that internal audit will need to consider.  What are these risks and how can they best be evaluated?  How does the global economy affect the skills and mindset needed in order for the internal auditor to be successful?  How does globalization impact domestic companies' operations as well as more regional companies with minimal global presence?    Please join us to learn more about this exciting topic.
