IIA CIA Learning System CIA Intense Review Course for CIA Exam Prep

You have all heard about the “NEW” IIA CIA Learning System^™.  

Well now the Ocean State Chapter proudly announces it is now offering The NEW IIA CIA Learning System^™ Intense Review Course to expand your internal audit knowledge and skills and prepare you for the Certified Internal Auditor^® (CIA^® ) certification exam. We will be offering a course for each part of the exam to be held at Bryant University.  

Featuring Intensive Review Seminars based on The NEW IIA CIA Learning System. These programs are designed for those who have completed The IIA CIA Learning System self-study materials and want to further enhance knowledge and boost exam day confidence. Each seminar is one- or 1.5 days in length and is designed to review one of the four parts of the CIA exam. 

Intense Review Course Overview:  The IIA has released a new learning system designed to aid individuals who wish to obtain the CIA designation.  The CIA Learning System is comprised of 5 text books and access (2yrs) to an interactive website (www.learncia.com).  At this website students can access additional learning resources and take simulated tests.  The tests are broken down into a pre-test, section tests, a post test and a final review.  During the course of their studies, students can take these tests unlimited times.  The results of the tests will show them the areas the have mastered and identify those areas in which they need to expand their knowledge.  This approach greatly assists the students in focusing on what they need to learn to pass the exam.

The results of the Final Review Test, for students enrolled in the review course, will be used by the Review Course Instructor to tailor the review course to meet the needs of the students attending.  This feedback is a crucial component of the process and will ensure that areas where students need further study and discussion are touched upon during the course.  Refer to the chart below for dates, deadlines and links for enrollment.

Instructor Bio:  Jennifer Mier, CIA, CISA is an IIA – IDC qualified trainer and has certified to teach the IIA CIA Review Course.  She is a career auditor with over 18 years of  experience and has performed financial, operational, IT and integrated audits through out her career.  Additionally she has managed SOX reviews and helped manage and coordinate the implementation of a major compliance function/application for an international Fortune 500 corporation.  She has worked at diverse organizations including Commerce Insurance, Mohegan Sun Casino, Hasbro Corporation, FM Global and Amica Insurance
