The Northwest Metro Chicago chapter has had a great run the past 18 months. To move to the next level, we need even more of our members to attend training events and participate in the chapter administrative activities!
To kick start our efforts, we are proud to present “Best Practices to Help Internal Audit Professionals Shine in Turbulent Times and Beyond”. We have rescheduled this session, originally offered in December, because we believe in the value of this program. To show it, we are offering their expertise and 3 hours of CPE for only $25!
The NWMC Programs Team has worked directly with our speakers to craft this unique session specifically for our chapter. The topics are based on the critical needs of audit professionals faced with the challenges of a demanding workload. The session will be facilitated by two of the leading topic experts related to best practice internal audit strategies.

Todd is the partner who leads the Risk Consulting practice for the insurance industry as well as the enterprise risk management services leader for all industries. He has over 25 years of experience in audit, internal audit, IT audit, risk management and regulatory compliance working with a variety of multi-national and mid-size organizations.
Rick Julien, CIA, CPA
Partner, Risk Consulting Services - Crowe Horwath
Rick is a Crowe Horwath Partner focused on Corporate Governance and Internal Audit. In 2002, Rick came to Crowe to help build a risk consulting business. Since 2003, Rick has worked extensively on various corporate governance issues. Along with ERM and Sarbanes-Oxley, Rick has focused on helping audit committees and chief audit executives build valuable relationships. Rick has worked on a variety of corporate governance, enterprise risk management, and internal audit roles over the last 28 years.
