Biographies

Mark Nelson

Managing Director – Protiviti Inc.

Mark Nelson is a Managing Director in the Technology Risk practice, specializing in Applications Control Effectiveness (ACE) practice. Mark leads the ACE Practice for the Oracle Applications.   Mark’s background includes over 18 years of financial and IT audit experience including Big 4 external audit and global company internal audit experience.  Mark’s technology experience also includes working as a project manager in consulting with Oracle Corporation.  Most recently Mark was a Vice President with a leading provider of continuous controls monitoring and change management software in the Oracle market.  

 

David Natelson

Vice President of Sales – Approva Corporation

David Natelson is a Vice President of Sales for Approva Corporation.  David has over 22 years of experience in technology sales, product development, consulting and marketing, and can relay some of Approva’s experiences in working with three of the world’s five largest audit and advisory firms, and by its hundreds of global customers, including Siemens, Honeywell, and Limited Brands.

 

Brian Shaw

Regional Sales Director - Approva Corporation

Brian Shaw is a Regional Sales Director with Approva Corporation. Brian has over 20 years experience in providing financial systems and technology solutions to the fortune 500, with a background in business process consulting and design, product marketing and development. Some of Brian’s clients at Approva include Comcast, Campbell’s Soup, Bayer, Bristol Myers, Tyco Electronics and The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

 

Steve Biskie, CPA, CITP, CISA

Best Practice Program Director - ACL Services, Ltd.

Steve Biskie has over 15 years of information technology audit experience in public accounting (as a former Deloitte manager), private industry, and with specialized risk management consulting firms. Biskie’s role at ACL is focused on designing services that enable organizations to achieve best practices in the use of audit analytics. Biskie is an accomplished public speaker on the topics of audit, risks, and controls, with a focus on technology. His past speaking engagements include events with The IIA (All-Star speaker), ISACA, SAP, and SAP Insider magazine (the sponsor of SAP Financials, SAP Administration, and other SAP-related conferences).

 

Sonny DasGupta

Dirtector of Marketing – SAP

Sonny is the Director of Marketing for the Office of the CFO, focusing in SAP GRC. Sonny brings over 10 years of experience in Security, Identity Management, Access Control and Process Control as a strategic consultant and a thought-leader. In his professional life, Sonny has worked with multiple Fortune-500 companies providing vision and leadership in SAP implementations, IT strategy, IT operations, Enterprise Architecture and technology management. Sonny is a regular speaker at ASUG and other events on topics of Security and Controls.
