Course Description:

In this half day workshop, participants will develop and enhance the skills of newer CAE’s and senior internal auditors, with respect to identifying the audit universe and developing risk based audit plans. The workshop is split between tutorial learning and working through ‘real’ examples to give participants experience they can deploy immediately in their current roles.

Course Highlights:

 Gain an understanding of how to define the audit universe

 Learn how to idenfity auditable entities

 Gain an understanding of how the audit universe is risk ranked

 Gain an understanding the audit cycles, and scheduling challenges

 Learn how to create a long-range audit plan

 Gain an understanding of annual audit plans

 Identify and implement follow ups, ad-hoc and special projects
