Ethical behaviour in the workplace can have a significant impact on our organizations. How do we measure and evaluate our organizations ethical behaviour? Who are the stakeholders involved? How do we communicate with them and respond to meaningful feedback about our performance.

In today’s competitive markets, ethical practices are seen as competitive assets. Professional accountants and other senior managers, have a special role to play in the ethical culture of their organizations. This session will discuss some of these challenging issues and attempt to create a road map going forward.

Areas covered will include:

  • Workplace changes that have impacted our organization.
  • Identify the stakeholders that are impacted by our actions.
  • Define the benefits of getting it right and the consequences of failure.
  • Describe the key components of an ethics program.
  • What are the questions we need to ask to measure our performance?
  • How do we communicate with all stakeholders and what information do we need to share?
  • How do we receive feedback and how do we respond?
  • How do we align our whole organization to create a good ethical culture?
