Biography:    Raven Henderson

A Passion for Internal Auditing

When Raven Lane Henderson began her career as an Internal Auditor in 1997, she thought
"Give it a few years and then move on to better opportunities within the company!".  Of course,
change is inevitable.  After experiencing a rewarding opportunity in the Internal Audit department
at Bank of America (formerly NationsBank), Raven was hooked on Internal Auditing.  What other
"job" can you learn about most of the working components of an organization in only 3 years?
On top of satisfying her natural curiosity on how things worked, she satisfied her need for
human interaction - all in a day's work.  Passion Turned into Opportunity

In 2001, Raven was approached to become a volunteer instructor for the Institute of Internal
Auditors (IIA).  Little did she know, a volunteer instructor opportunity would lead her to realize a
new passion for education.  Raven has combined her passion for internal auditing with her love
for people and travel to become a full-time trainer.  Of course, to keep my skills fresh, I'm open
to assisting you on a variety of internal audit and internal control consulting opportunities.

Current
  • Professional Trainer and Owner at Raven Lane LLC
