This Virginia CPA Ethics Seminar is provided as a service to IIA members (over 50% on the Central Virginia Chapter members are CPAs), and to anyone else needing this CPE credit.  50% of the Ethics seminar's net profit goes to the IIA Central Virginia Chapter's Theron Bell Memorial Scholarship Fund at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), and 50% to on-going chapter operations.  Please encourage your CPA members or guests to attend, if they have not yet satisfied their 2009 requirement!

 

Reservations are first-come first-served (use above "Register Me" button).

Payment now accepted by credit or debit card through Google Checkout (details at bottom of page), or via check made payable to "IIA Central Virginia Chapter" (non-profit tax ID # 23-7406294) and mailed to (if received by 10/24/09):

Please ensure that your $40 check or credit/debit card payment is received by 10/24/09.  Otherwise, after 10/24/09 a $50 check may be brought to the seminar, or paid via Google Checkout.  No credit cards are accepted at the seminar.  Your reservation must be confirmed.

Cancellations by 10/31/09 will be refunded.  Non-receipt of your check (or Google Checkout payment) will result in reservation cancellation.  While substitutions are permitted, without charge, please notify  centralvaiia@gmail.com of the name of your substitute, as it is needed for CPE and for the Security Guard's list for admission..

Seminar starts promptly at 8AM.     Room location: Sign in at the Guard's Desk  and ask for directions.

This 2009 Ethics Seminars is offered by IIA Central Virginia Chapter thanks to Dr. Carolyn S. Norman of VCU.  This 2-CPE Ethics course satisfies the 2008 Virginia Board of Accountancy Ethics requirement for Virginia CPAs.   50% of net proceeds go to support chapter activities, and 50% to the chapter's Thereon Bell IIA Scholarship Fund at VCU.


Pre-payments by credit/debit cards:  Pre-payments at $40/person until 10/24/09 are accepted via credit or debit cards through Google Checkout.  Use the Checkout button below.  Unless you already have a Google account, you will be asked to create a free Google account which may be used for future Google transactions.  Refunds will be made for cancellations made on/before 10/31/09 (less $2.00 transaction fee).  Alternately, you may send a substitute.

If paying after 10/24/09, the price is $50/person and must be paid by Cash or Check at the seminar, or prepaid by Google Checkout.  Credit Cards are still NOT accepted at meetings/seminars.
