The Central Ohio Chapters of The IIA and the Association of Government Accountants presents:

Risk Based Internal Auditing - Reaching Optimization

Presentation by James D. Kreimer, CPA – Director of Internal Auditing, Defense Supply Center, Columbus (DSCC).

 

What is risk management and why it should be applied is the cornerstone for this meetings discussion on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).    

Through his discussion of “Risk management – what keeps your boss awake”, and practical exercises, related vocabulary and the use of examples, James Kreimer will define ERM, discuss practical tools (the Good, Bad, and the Ugly) and general application.  James will provide lessons learned from DSCC to develop an understanding of the application of ERM to the meeting participants’ specific industries. In addition, James will emphasize the importance of senior management involvement to the success of ERM application.

James Kreimer is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor Of Arts Degree with Honors in History and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Accounting. James is the DSCC Internal Audit Manager with 35 years of Auditing and Consulting experience.    

The registration desk will open at 8 AM and a breakfast buffet will be served consisting of eggs, muffins, danishes, bacon, fruit, drinks will be offered.

The program will begin at 8:30 AM and conclude at 10:30.
