Program Overview – Please join us to hear Dave Curry, Associate Director of Audit & Advisory Services for UCLA, discuss the importance of Quality Assurance Reviews (QAR) and their impacts on the Internal Auditor. In order for your audit function to use the statement "conducted in accordance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing," your internal audit function must establish a Quality Assurance and Improvement Program that includes both ongoing and periodic internal QARs and undergo an external QAR a minimum of once every five years.

Mr. Curry will also provide us with an overview of the IIA’s North American Board and what they do for you (our members).
