Seminar is FULL. Registration is closed. Class Overview: Control self-assessment (CSA) is a valuable tool that can be used to determine the progress of business objectives. You will learn tools and techniques for formatting and implementing CSA. Seminar participants will review the role of internal audits, while learning to use different CSA formats and control frameworks for self-assessment. Participants will join fellow auditors in presentations and practice workshop facilitation techniques, as well as group discussions, case studies, practical exercises, self-assessments, and individual coaching and feedback sessions. Through these highly interactive sessions, you will gain an understanding of the important role workshops play in the CSA process, grasp the power of the group decision process, and learn how to evaluate, review, and report results. This workshop also provides the participants with an overview of the value internal audit brings to organizations. It is designed to facilitate a discussion surrounding topics related to the value, implementation, and barriers associated with the formation of internal audit groups. Upon completion of this program, participants will have obtained the skills needed to facilitate CSA workshops themselves and have fulfilled the training requirement to take the Certification in Control Self Assessment.
