Session Title: "The Effects of the Current Economy on Taxation and Investments."
Purpose:
- Highlight ways to prepare for the coming effects that the current economic downturn will have on taxation, investments and the auditing landscape.
Attendees will learn to:
- Understand the short, medium and long term trends that the recent economic turmoil has set into motion as it relates to investment and taxation.
Course Overview: We will cover the reasons for the current economic crisis and the inevitable coming effects on the tax, investment and auditing landscape.
Speaker Bio:
Jake Yetterberg is the President of Yetterberg Retirement Solutions. Mr. Yetterberg Graduated with honors from Florida State University in 1987 and focuses his business in retirement and estate planning and preservation.
Mr. Yetterberg specializes in helping his clients reduce their income taxes, avoid taxes on social security income, increase guaranteed retirement income and to protect and grow the assets that they have worked a lifetime to accumulate. By specializing specifically in the retirement planning market, Mr. Yetterberg stays current with the numerous tax laws and rulings that affect this ever-changing marketplace.
He speaks on a wide range of financial and insurance topics and has delivered hundreds of customized presentations over the last 10 years. He has taught educational programs for a wide range of groups, including
- The Military Officers Association
- The Fort Sam Houston Optimist’s Club
- The Association of Governmental Accountants
- The Army Residence Center
- The A&M Club
- The North San Antonio Retired Teachers Association
- The Harlandale Retired Teachers Association

Jake lives with his wife Kim, a home health therapist, and their three children in the San Antonio area. He is the immediate past president and board member of the San Antonio Knife and Fork Club. Mr. Yetterberg has also received a 5-year accommodation from Big Brothers and Sisters of South Texas and regularly volunteers at Hidden Forest Elementary School.
Mr. Yetterberg and his firm are members in good standing of the San Antonio Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Texas Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He is Licensed and bonded by the State of Texas.
