Presentation/presenter Overview: 

William J. O’Donnell, Vice Chancellor of Administration and Fiscal Affairs at Indiana University, South Bend, will be sharing his thoughts on project management, work and family balance and unleashing the creativity, talent and energy of your workforce. IU South Bend is embarking on a momentous new chapter in its history, exemplified by the construction of student residential housing, the opening of the Elkhart Center, new degrees in dental and nursing, budget stability, and fundraising for the Natatorium. As Chief Fiscal Officer, O’Donnell will share winning formulas for responding to overwhelming work responsibilities as well as insights for satisfying family relationships.

O’Donnell started at IU in February of 2004. Prior to his South Bend position, O’Donnell was Assistant Vice President and Controller for Desert Research Institute, Reno, Nev. The institute is the research campus of the University and Community College System of Nevada.

O’Donnell served from 1989 to 1999 as Director of Administrative Services and Controller at Montana State University – Northern, Havre, Montana. From 1984 to 1989, he was a Senior Auditor for the State of Montana, Office of Legislative Auditor.  

O’Donnell received his Master’s degree in Business Administration in 2003 from the University of Nevada, Reno, and the Bachelor’s of Science degree in 1979 from the University of Montana, Missoula.  Bill is a native of Havre, Mont.
