President's Message

As we move into a New Year and the biggest change in State Government in, as reported, over 100 years; the Institute of Internal Auditors wants to ensure that we are of great service to Internal Auditors by providing training and a forum to hear from our leaders in State Government.

Audit Directors

I look forward to meeting with the Audit Directors next week to begin discussing areas where we can work together on issues such as risk assessment and best practices.

Improving Services

Please note that we will be trying a few new ways to streamline our processes including lunch check-in, sign-in sheets, certificate distribution and money collection. As you know, it is very important that we get an accurate participant count in order to control our costs; so we appreciate your help with timely registration and letting us if you have to cancel. Also, we will have someone to greet, help and get what you need at the front door.

Training Calendar

If you are in need of low cost training for this year be on the lookout for upcoming training dates to add to your calendar! We already have two excellent training sessions on the horizon; Report Writing and Communications on March 3^rd and Contract Auditing on April 3^rd.

Elections Process

We are moving along with our elections process thanks to Kim Rolfe and Heath Barfoot! We have exceptional candidates for both our Board and Officers. Please watch for announcements from Kim on this process.
