2009-2010 Co-Presidents' Message
Dear Ocean State Chapter Members: We recently completed one successful Chapter year and we end it proudly with GOLD honors from IIA Headquarters. The Chapter was fortunate to have a dedicated team of professionals who volunteered their time to make our Chapter successful. To celebrate this grand milestone the Board of Governors and Committee Members are working diligently to plan the perfect event for the Chapter membership. Our event, which will be held September 30th, will kick-off the rest of the 2009-2010 Program of Seminars. Despite the current economic challenges, our Chapter remains focused and committed to our mission and goals (1) serve the membership (2) promote the profession of internal audit. The Chapter will also begin new and exciting initiatives around Public Relations and Membership including marketing and advertising for RI based corporations on our quarterly newsletters.
