President's Message
Thank you for the privilege of serving as your President for the 2009-2010 Chapter year. I realize this is a challenging year for most of us due to the current economic conditions. Because of these conditions, I believe that we will be seen as an excellent local alternative for our chapter members for training this year. As incoming president of the Central Jersey IIA I have four primary goals for the year:
- Continue to bring valuable continued professional education to our members at a reasonable price
- To attract new members and participation from our geographic region
- To be an attractive networking venue for our current members and our members in transition
- Continue to work with local universities to promote the profession
I am proud to report that our chapter has accomplished our goals during the 2008-2009 year and we have been recognized by the National IIA as a Gold level chapter. This is the 4th Consecutive year for which we have earned this recognition.
To all of you who provided financial support to our chapter and attended our seminars, thank you. Your support of our Chapter allows us to continue to provide quality continuing professional education and other services of value to our members.
I would like to thank Ed Weiss who served as recent president and the rest of the board for making the 2008-2009 year as successful as possible. Without your valuable support, it would be impossible to meet our goals.
