Here are some tips to help you maximize your IIA membership benefits:

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or problems updating your information. You may update your profile anytime items such as email distributions, CPE certificates and annual letters, and name badges reference your member information so it is important that your profile remains accurate.Read our monthly newsletters and browse our chapter website where we communicate and promote our chapter events and any other items of interest. If you would like to contribute articles, news items, training and employment opportunities, or other pertinent information, please contact Christopher Deck, our web administrator, at chris.deck@knoxcounty.org. Attend our monthly meetings and seminars. The officers and Board of Governors have worked hard to plan these events with your input. Where else will you get 69 hours of CPEs this year for $820.00?
- Don t see a meeting or seminar topic that interests you? Contact an officer and submit your suggestions for programs anytime (our contact information is listed on the home page). You will also have an opportunity to offer your input in the annual member survey that is distributed in late-May/early June and in the evaluation collected at each meeting.
- Encourage non-active members or non-members to attend our programs. Remember, meetings are free for first-time guests. Most of our CPEs are applicable to other certifications, including CPAs. As always, all attendees have an opportunity to win our $25 giveaways at each meeting.
- Help us promote the audit profession to students by attending our annual Student Night and encouraging your company to hire summer interns in your department.
