IT SPECIALIST EXAMINER
The Office of the State Bank Commissioner (OSBC) is seeking an unclassified Information Technology (IT) Specialist Examiner in our Wichita, Kansas field office. This person will be responsible for on-site bank examinations and risk assessments of IT security, applications, and vendors. The successful candidate should possess the educational background or previous work experience to review/audit network security; firewall rules; routers management; intrusion detection and prevention; backup systems; remote deposit capture; mobile banking; and disaster recovery and business continuity. Training will be afforded by the OSBC. Salary is commensurate with experience and/or education. Travel is required, both commutes and overnight stays.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field will be considered.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Prefer IT, Finance, Accounting, or Banking education or experience. Also strong communication skills.
