2009 Nominating Committee Report

The IIA NW Metro Chicago Chapter Nominating Committee recommends the following people as 2009-2010 candidates for Chapter Officers and Governors:

 

Chapter Officers – 1 Year Term

 

President	Mike Heraty, Verizon Wireless
Vice President Programs	Brian Babendir, Anixter International Inc.
Vice President – Communications	Mike Ryan, Solo Cup Company
Vice President – Membership	Frank Moriarty, RSM McGladrey
Treasurer	Oliver Tang, Ace Hardware
Secretary	Tracy Heming-Litwin, Fellowes

 

 

Governors – 3 Year Terms:

 

Tami McClain, Baxter

Angela Banks-Buford, Grand Victoria Casino

Frank Moriarty, RSM McGladrey

Lisa Siegrist, Deloitte

 

Governors – 2 Year Terms:

 

Michael T. Ryan, Solo Cup Company

 

The Nominating Committee recommends the above candidates.  The slate presented provides the Chapter with the best chance to firmly establish itself in its second year of reemergence.  It also provides an opportunity for existing leadership to focus on succession planning and developing a continuing stream of Chapter leaders and committee participants. 

 

Please note that the slate requests five members to reprise their current roles.  Chapter By-Laws permit this option.

 

We encourage the Chapter’s Board to approve our recommendation and place the slate in nomination to the entire Chapter membership.  We also request the Board schedule an appropriate annual chapter meeting for sometime in May 2009.
