City Council seeks volunteer citizen member for Audit Advisory Board

The City of Tacoma seeks a volunteer citizen member for the Audit Advisory Board. Once the appointment is approved by the City Council, the new board member will serve a two-year term.

The Audit Advisory Board will meet as needed to provide its oversight for City audits. The board will hold a minimum of four meetings per year. To qualify for appointment to the Audit Advisory Board, applicants must possess knowledge of government performance and financial auditing, public administration and government financial practices. The board is composed of four City Council members, two Tacoma Public Utility Board members and one citizen member.
