New OrleansChapter Monthly Meeting
Don’t forget! Our next monthly meeting will be held this Thursday, May 15, at Ralph’s on the Park. Our speaker will be Tim Babco of PoolCorp, and the topic will be “Disaster Recovery.” Don’t forget the membership drawing - it is now $250 as none of the winners were in attendance in January, February, March, or April.
IIA Research Foundation Information
The mission of the IIA Research Foundation is “to expand knowledge and understanding of internal auditing by providing relevant research and educational products to advance the profession globally.”
International Internal Auditing Awareness Month
The month of May is International Internal Audit Awareness Month. This is a time to promote the internal audit profession and its role in organizational effectiveness and efficiency, internal control, risk management, and corporate governance.
