September Meeting Incentive Winner
Congratulations to Jon Souquet of Tulane University! Her meeting evaluation was randomly drawn by Paul Ashe (our September meeting speaker). The drawing was conducted at the end of meeting after all evaluations has been collected and was monitored by several officers and members. Jon won a free lunch registration for herself at an upcoming IIA meeting as well as another free registration to bring a guest with her who is not a member of the IIA.

UNO Recipient of CIA Academic Outreach Award!
The IIA is committed to the continual growth of the CIA designation as the premier internal auditor certification worldwide - for prospective employers, internal auditors, and management consultants - and encourages IIA affiliates and universities to build awareness of the CIA program. In recognition of these efforts, the IIA presents the CIA Academic Outreach Award to those colleges and universities that have actively promoted the CIA designation, resulting in the most new CIA candidates and the most new professionals who have successfully earned the certification. Recognition includes: a distinctive award certificate; a press release to area publications; recognition in the IIA headquarters' newsletters; and a letter to university leaders recognizing their accomplishments. Award recipients include the top three schools with the most new candidates and new CIAs and the top three IIA Endorsed Internal Auditing Program (EIAP) schools with the most new candidates and new CIAs Congratulations to UNO for its outstanding achievement in supporting and promoting the Certified Internal Auditor Program!
