THE BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP
The IIA is the primary international association for the profession. Our membership enables you to share in the collective wisdom of approximately 85,000 members in more than 120 countries and territories. As a member, you help to build a stronger future for yourself and the profession.
IIA members come from a wide variety of public and private sectors, which include agriculture, forestry, and fisheries; mining; contract construction; manufacturing; transportation, communications, and utility services; wholesale and retail trade; financial, insurance, and real estate; services; education; and government. IIA members can take advantage of a range of membership benefits.
MEMBERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
The IIA offers individual membership; types include regular, educator, student, retired, and life memberships.
The Audit Group Program enables audit organizations to enroll entire audit staffs at significantly reduced rates. Organizations pay base and incremental fees depending upon staff size. Organizations with as few as four internal auditing professionals on staff save!
Public sector organizations can provide their entire auditing staff with professional standards, affordable training, and continuing education requirements through the Sustaining Organization Program. The annual organization fee is based on total number of professional audit staff. Staff members can then elect to join The IIA as an individual member at significant savings off regular fees.
SPECIAL MEMBERSHIP SECTIONS
To take your IIA membership to new levels of special expertise, take advantage of The IIA's special membership sections. Open to IIA members only, participation in one of these sections gives you benefits beyond your basic membership. IIA members may join a section at any time during their membership term, and new members may join with their initial application. Section fees are in addition to membership dues.
