The IIA Canada Chairman Advocates for the Profession at the Alberta Legislature
Todd Horbasenko, Chairman of the Canadian Council, the governing body of The IIA Canada, made a presentation on October 28, 2009 on the internal audit profession and its role within organizations to the Alberta Government's Standing Committee on Community Services. This committee is reviewing Bill 202: Municipal Government (Municipal Auditor General) Amendment Act, 2009. He provided the Committee with the attached Frequently Asked Questions document and provided an overview of the profession (see attached speaking notes).
