| 2. Professional Education and Other Activities: The Chapter offers networking and training sessions (on a variety of topics for an array of interests and levels of experience). These sessions present current topics of interest and are a great value. The Chapter also sponsors periodic social activities to allow you to network with other audit and business professionals. |

| 3. Research: The Institute of Internal Auditors Research Foundation expands the internal auditing profession and assists the internal audit practitioner through research. The Chicago Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors encourages chapter research projects. The Chicago Chapter will endeavor to aid any interested party in their research project. Chapter sponsor projects have received top honors 4 of the last 5 years. |

| 4. Certified Internal Auditor Program: The CIA designation is a recognized acknowledgement of professional competence in internal auditing. The certification examination is held semiannually in May and November. The Chicago Chapter can help you prepare for the exam and provide the registration materials. |
