Chapter's Mission The Vancouver Island Chapter objective is to provide the opportunities on Vancouver Island for professional development and networking. Our chapter will continue to work with the Vancouver Chapter so that members of each chapter will have the opportunity to receive the training and event notification; to have popular speakers and events offered in each location; to advertise career and other opportunities.
Chapter History The Vancouver Island Chapter of the IIA was approved by the International Board of the IIA in March 2007. This was the culmination of an initial idea and of a lot of work from the Vancouver Chapter, including Tom Peerless, Jeremy Picco and Doug Cruikshank. The Vancouver Island Chapter Formation Committee consisted of Greg Diemer, David Fairbotham, Jackie Bruneau and Stephen Ward.
