The San Antonio ChapterThe San Antonio Chapter of the Intitute of Internal Auditors (SA-IIA) began February 19, 1962. We offer opportunties for continuing professional education (CPE) credit at an affordable price to our members. Members can earn 12 CPE credits per year by attending our monthly member meetings. We offer additonal CPE opportunites at various seminars scheduled thoughout the year. The SA-IIA is an official sponsor of CPE through the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.Chapter members elect new officers and board members at the annual member meeting held each March. Officers manage the affairs of the SA-IIA according to the Chapter by-laws and guidance from the IIA. They meet with the Board of Governors each quarter to ensure the chapter goals and objectives are attained. Our Committee Members are the volunteers who help put the Chapter’s plans into action. Our chapter year runs from June 1st to May 31st. The chapter by-laws, membership directory, and minutes from the Board of Governors meetings are located in the Members Only section.
