Public consultation is part of The IIA’s due process for soliciting feedback. The results of the public consultation inform the final publication, which will be accompanied by a user guide.
Topical Requirements are a new element of the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF), which also includes the Global Internal Audit Standards™ and Global Guidance. Topical Requirements include mandatory requirements for evaluating and assessing the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes on specific risk topics.
