Has anyone found any additional tests ? besides the ones provided with the guide? I am looking for anything that could help me in regards to preparing for this exam, Thank you!

Hi AuditorZ & Teresak.

The study guide published by the IIA should be enough. I used and passed the exam on the first try. I have read it at least 3 times over though. Please note also that some of the standards quoted in the study guide have been superseded so it would be a good idea to have the latest edition of the IPPF handy.

Good luck to you both!

Hi everyone,

I am also studying for the CFSA and will take the exam before the end of the year if possible, if not I will schedule in January 2014. I am dedicating at least 2hrs each day to study and read the IIA study guide.

When is your schedule exam date Teresak & auditorZ? Have you found any additional study materials by any chance?

DRD - how many months did you study before you took the exam?

Thanks

Hi Lady J808.

I've studied about 4 months alloting about 1 hour of reading each day. I've also tried searching for review materials other than the study guide but found none so I decided to concentrate on the IIA guide. An upside of this lack of study material/questions though is that it forces you to understand the concepts rather than memorizing the questions. I found the study guide rather winded but it definitely helped me pass.

Good luck to you and to the rest.

LadyJ808- I am wanting to take the test the first part of December and no later than the end of the year. I have been using the study guides and the IIA Standards. I also ordered the study questions from Financecerts that has 500 study questions. There are several companies that sell this product. From what I saw, I think the questions are the same for each one.

Good luck on your test!

Hi

I have not scheduled my exam, I am looking into late Feb some time, I am not a big fan of taking tests/exams, so I find it hard to get myself together to take this exam. I have been using the study guide and also got the CIA Q&A because I read that some of the questions from that are similar also allows you get an idea of how the ? are written.

Thanks to all who have shared there knowledge on this exam, and please keep sharing info on the exam.

I have gotten the same Q&A from financecerts to help me with my studying. I noticed there are alot of spelling errors on it. I wish Gleim have something for the CFSA exam.
