Hi

First of all, english is not my first language so you know - spelling, laguage etc.

Yesterday I did my first try to pass CIA part 1(the old test 1) - it did not work out well, I got 537... I am a bit disappointed, I spend a lot of time for study (I think) with Gleim 16th edition – over 50 hour probably over 70 hour. I just work with the questions and only a little with the book.

I have pretty hard to understand WHAT they ask for, for the moment I’m pretty bitter that it isn’t possible to do the test in Swedish. I often have to read the question at least twice to get what they actually asking for and to figure out if they try to cheat me with some negation… probably is 20 % of my fails related to that I don’t get the question 100 %.

Any way, I failed number one and will now begin to study for part two, also in the old system with 90 questions. For my studies I got even I this case same Gleim, I weakness for me is that I figure out that I memorize the questions and that is a problem – I always read the explanation why it is correct and often even why it isn’t. Any other advice for me? Is the difficulty the same?

The third part I will do in the new system but first next year after I pass part 1 and 2.
