Although I passed part 1 from the first time I did not pass part 2 after 5 times, I scored 584 to 595, it sucks. When I enter the material I feel like am entering the wrong exam. It should not be that much hard so why is this happening is it me?, I studied PRC material which was a trash then i went for the Gleim. As for the Gleim learning system questions it only helps by 20% will help. there is always new questions I never saw. I am tired of it I dont know what to do. Any ideas? Please help, I have one last chance to go.

Sad reading

I failed part 1 this monday, scored 537 (or if it was 527 prel)... I took the advice ande only working with Gleim study questions and that was not enough for me.

I´ll do part 2 dec 9. So I got two months to prepare for it, I just begin with Gleim book and read now after that I will do the questions for one chapter. I have only read the first 30 pages, I reconise more in this part than the first part. Hardest for me is the language, english is not my first language and often I got problem to understand what they ask for cause I´m not used to the wocabulery in english.

After I read your experience I guess I have to gear up a bit. Hope Gleim 16th support this part, I wrote for the old part 1 with 90 questions - but I got the feeling that I hade study something else (in some cases) when I did the test, compare to Gleim.

will I studied both PRC and Gleim (Rev 16), and to be honest Gleim is much better, PRC is a waste of time. I only do the exams in English, I heard many candidates say that the translation is not accurate and it is even more hard to have the exam in Arabic. However you can use the Arabic material just for the sake of having better understanding.

Am just hones and this was my experience.

Yesterday, I had my Part 1 Old format. I did not pass. I scored 529. And now I will start with the Part 2 Old format. I am planning to use Gleim. In my Part 1 exam, many questions were difficult that you have two choices that appear correct. I did not know what to do, so I had to guess. Is it the same case with Part 2?? How do you answer the questions when you are stick between two choices that look so close and correct.

There will be one choice that is better, more comprehensive, or more appropriate than the other. I think you have to understand the concepts and apply them into the question to be able to see the difference. I studied for Part 1 using Gleim and did suspect that I might have a hard time because Gleim only gives you an outline. Eventually I had to get Wiley question book and only then did I really understand more of the concepts. I passed part 1, thankfully, but for part 2 I’m not using Gleim because I don’t believe in only studying the outline.

So for you I think you should keep trying to get a hold of more questions to practice, and make sure you read all the explations, why the correct choice is right and what’s wrong with the incorrect ones. You’ll learn a lot that way and you’ll see that the answers are fair even though they’re confusing sometimes.

Hi nguyenthuan49,

Eventually I had to get Wiley question book and only then did I really understand more of the concepts.

When you say Wiley question book, what did you mean? Is it Wiley CIA bank questions with internet access or real book with CIA questions and answers ? How did you buy it.

I have Gleim 17th and 16th edition books and software, but I need something better for understanding concept.

Thanks for help.
