Can someone explain the difference between the two ?

Grantt Charts use Probabilistic as does Markov Process.
CPM and Regression analysis uses deterministic.

Sentence example - I'm determining this outcome based off of the probability of this models inputs....

Seems like both can fit into the same sentence ?
