Dear Colleagues,

I recently read an article which stated that photocopying of military ID cards is prohibited. However, I have seen player club members whose military ID cards have been scanned at the time the Host opens the account. Please let me know your comments.

Our casino implemented no-copy/scan procedures in 2012 after the Compliance Officer became aware of the regulation. I'm sure there's a very small % of businesses that are aware of this regulation, especially if a military facility is not in the area. This is the first that I have heard of it and I've been in the industry for 15 years.
