Hello,

I am interested in learning how other companies are converting AP payment data for positive pay into their banks approved file format and transferring it securely to the bank. Have you been able to automate the file conversion and transmission so that there is no user intervention needed? Did your company purchase a software package to accomplish that or were your in house programmers able to create an interface?

We use standard FTP (file transfer protocols) to transmit this data. There are numerous standard FTP conversion tools available, depending on your system (we are SAP) and the protocols used by the bank. Our IT group does this all the time for various data transfers. Generally they use a standard FTP and configure it as necessary to communicate with the other party.
