5th IAEP Leadership & Networking Retreat
The IIA’s Internal Auditing Education Partnership (IAEP) program is a premier academic program recognizing colleges and universities worldwide that teach internal audit curricula within a degree program that have been endorsed by The IIA. Currently, 43 schools participate in the program, which is supported financially by the Internal Auditing Academic Advancement Fund (IAAAF). Each year, IAAAF donors are invited to meet students and educators from IAEP-endorsed schools during a weekend-long event in Orlando, FL. Highlights include practitioners sharing real-life experiences with the students; opportunities for the students to enhance their leadership skills during presentations; collaboration between the educators and donors on aligning their internal audit curricula with current best-practices; and interviews which allow students to be considered for potential internships and employment.
